The Blessed Tree Foundation, a nonprofit organization, is an outreach initiative to bridge the Muslim American communities to the greater interfaith and non religious based communities within the United States. Our goal is to dispel misconceptions about Islam and Muslims as well as to educate communities about Islam and what it means to be Muslim in America.
Projects that the organization will engage in include, but are not limited to, dialogue between educational institutions such as high schools, colleges, universities, churches, synagogues, temples and any organizations that request our services. These services will come through various projects such as youth camps, scholarly visits to the educational institutions and places of worship, workshops, online classes and YouTube videos.
Internship opportunities, in cooperation with educational institutions, will be offered to students who seek personal and educational enrichment and better understanding of Muslims and dynamics of Islam within their local community.
The foundation will also serve as a sponsor to visiting scholars of traditional sacred knowledge to teach courses on location and via online classes. Support will also be provided to accredited Muslim organizations in their efforts to better relations between Muslims their local and national communities. The overall objective of The Blessed Tree Foundation is to serve as a platform for communal growth through dialogue and education derived from traditional Islamic values.
